Having grown up in New Mexico, I am fortunate to have been exposed to a diverse array of cultures, scenery, and people that have all influenced my style as an artist. Though I have no formal training in art, I wholly believe that art provides a magnificent avenue for releasing my thoughts, emotions, fears, and dreams. I strive to illuminate my work with bright colors and strong composition. All of my pastel paintings are done with the now discontinued Winsor & Newton Artists' Soft Pastels, which supplies a rich, creamy texture. Recently, I have begun producing more illustrations that combine fabrics of the human physique with abstract manipulations of space and objects.
